Solo+MIA is a stand-alone application from Eigenvector Research for chemometrics and multivariate image analysis. It combines the SOLO modeling environment with the MIA module to handle both traditional spectral/process data and hyperspectral or multivariate image cubes in one workflow.
With Solo+MIA, scientists and engineers can build, validate, and deploy models for exploratory analysis, regression, and classification using established methods such as PCA, PLS, PCR, SIMCA, PLS-DA, and MCR. The software includes comprehensive preprocessing tools (e.g., baseline correction, derivatives, scatter correction), interactive visualization, cross-validation, and diagnostics. For imaging data, it provides region-of-interest tools, pixel-level predictions, component and score maps, and classification or concentration images, enabling rapid interpretation of chemical and spectral images.
Designed for applications in spectroscopy, chemical imaging (Raman, IR, NIR), microscopy, process analytics, and quality control, Solo+MIA scales to large datasets and supports batch and real-time prediction. It runs on Windows and macOS and does not require MATLAB. Models can be exchanged with Eigenvector’s PLS_Toolbox, streamlining collaboration and deployment across teams.
Solo+MIA is developed by Eigenvector Research. The most popular versions of this product among our users are: 6.5, 7.3, 7.9 and 8.1. The name of the program executable file is Solo+MIA.exe.
